
IOANA CARABIN, MD
Dr. Ioana Carabin graduated with a Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, NY in 1986. She underwent a 2-year General surgery training at North Shore University Hospital (affiliate of Cornell University), Manhasset, NY, and a 3-year training in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery, Facial Plastic Surgery at The Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, NY graduating this prestigious program in 1991.
Since then, in addition to clinical practice in her areas of expertise, Dr. Carabin has also been involved in medical consulting and she has lectured nationally and internationally and published extensively. Between 2009 and 2012, Dr. Carabin held the position of Assistant Professor of Medical Education, University of Central Florida, College of Medicine, Department of Medical Education, in Orlando, FL.
In the last 12 years, Dr. Carabin has been practicing in Key West and has been attending to patients throughout the Florida Keys, as Island ENT was for a long time the only ENT practice in the Keys.
